The Township appreciates the motoring public slowing down and using caution when near road work or when the Road Crew is mowing. Thank you!
MCDANIEL ROAD
McDaniel Road will be closed periodically when the project begins in 2027.
The Township and their contractor will be replacing crosspipes, raising the roadway and ditching within the 1,920 ft the project area. Additionally, the 'bridge' will be replaced and streamwork will be accomplished.
PLEASE avoid the area and/or obey signage when posted to keep our employees and contractors safe.
A majority of the cost of the project is being funding through a Dirt and Gravel Grant from the Crawford County Conservation District, and we thank them for the opportunity!!
The cost of the project is more than $365,000, mostly provided through the Conservation District Dirt & Gravel Grant Program. We thank them for giving the Township this opportunity!!
SEAL COAT WORK
The Township will be reviewing road conditions for determining 2027 Road Projects.
VARIOUS CULVERT PIPE REPLACEMENT
Various areas in the Township will have cross pipes and ditch pipes replaced on an as-needed basis.

PennDot does not allow signs in the Right of Way.
Please be aware when placing signs that you are not blocking the sight distance of the roadway(s) at intersections.

DO NOT drop off items prior to the scheduled date.
We cannot take: Tires, unboxed small items, hazardous chemicals, regular household garbage. This list is not all inclusive, so call for questions.
FOR 2026!!!!!!!!..............THIS YEAR: We are collecting electronics during Clean Up Day!
We are getting an 11-yard bin for collection and once it is level full, that is all we will take.
THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED FOR TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY!!!!
We will be taking: Computer towers, laptops, printers and other items considered electronics that must be recycled.
DO NOT DROP OFF ITEMS BEFORE OR AFTER CLEAN UP DAY and ONLY WITHIN THE STATED HOURS.
(2) ITEMS PER HOUSEHOLD
