PennDot does not allow signs in the Right of Way. 

Please be aware when placing signs that you are not blocking the sight distance of the roadway(s) at intersections.

CLEAN UP DAY

May 9, 2026  8 a.m. to 2 p.m.


Held at the Township Shop at 26965 Deeter Road Cochranton, PA 16314


DO NOT drop off items prior to the scheduled date.


We cannot take: Tires, unboxed small items, hazardous chemicals, regular household garbage. This list is not all inclusive, so call for questions.


PENDING FOR 2026...............THIS YEAR: We are doing a trial run on collecting electronics during Clean Up Day!

We are getting an 11-yard bin for collection and once it is level full, that is all we will take.

THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED FOR TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY!!!!

We will be taking: Computer towers, laptops, printers and other items considered electronics that must be recycled.

DO NOT DROP OFF ITEMS BEFORE OR AFTER CLEAN UP DAY and ONLY WITHIN THE STATED HOURS.  

                                               (2) ITEMS PER HOUSEHOLD


You are encouraged to follow the 'rules' so that we can all benefit from this opportunity!!
